I was staring at some glitter I purchased and decide I absolutely must franken with it.
The rest is history.


Here it is! Two coats of my very own Cupcake Sprinkles over three coats of China Glaze Lemon Fizz!

I don't have much of an introduction for this post. And I'm pretty darn sure my Oral Communications teacher would probably hang her head in shame. So here we go.


I started with three coats of China Glaze Light As Air from the Up & Away collection (Spring 2010), sponged Color Club Sugar Plum Fairy (Holiday 2011), and stamped with China Glaze Four Leaf Clover--also from the Up & Away collection--using Bundle Monster Plate BM203.

I was in my usual polish hangout (Icing) and I finally saw a polish I didn't already own. So here it is, Citrus Glitzorama.


According to the manager its a new color they just got in. Which would explain why I couldn't find swatches of it anywhere else.


Citrus Glitzorama is a bright--almost neon in some lighting--tangerine creme packed with gold toned hexagon shaped flakie glitter.

This color makes me wish it was summer.

 So, I'm at the cash register (in Icing of course) and I spot the strangest glitter polish I've ever seen.


Isn't this, The Golden Age of Glitter, something else? I had to buy two because it was so unique.




This is three coats. Trust me, the bald spots aren't nearly as noticeable in real life.

As expected it is a real pain in the ass to take off. Nonetheless, it's still a very intriguing glitter polish!

I mentioned yesterday that I've been stalking this polish and I finally got it! Although, it isn't as vibrant as some pictures may portray it to be, I guess I kinda like it.

Also I've kinda been stalking Sally Beauty Supply so I could get my hands on Aquadelic from China Glaze's Electropop collection. Turns out they don't have it yet but Beauty Plus Salon does!!!

After finally removing my New Year's Eve mani I decided to simply paint them. And here's the final product!


I started off with a base coat of Nail Life Nail Revitalizer and two coats of Sally Hansen X-treme Wear Lacey Lilac, one coat of Icing Glitterati, one coat of Color Club It's A Hit. I usually stick with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat; so, I felt the need to try something else. I topped it all off with Orly Seal On Top Coat.


 At first I wasn't too fond of this combo, but I got a lot compliments on this one at work today.

I guess I can consider this a milestone (or an overly developed addiction). I prefer the former.

As usual I stopped into my local Icing and picked up a few beauties. I only got three because, well, I have every other polish they sell.


Written In the Stars- A translucent lavender base with two different sized hexagon shaped holographic glitters and medium toned blue star glitter suspended throughout.

Teal Me I'm Awesome- Another single colored hexagon shaped glitter similar to these, but instead of laying completely flat, the glitter in TMIA sort of "curls." I like the polish but Icing has yet to understand what the color teal actually looks like.

All Night Long- Blue micro glitter, navy hexagon glitter, and silver hexagon glitter densely packed in a clear base.

All three lacquers are shown in three coats.
