I know you weren't thinking this week was going to be chock full of run of the mill wedding nails did you? I hope not! No Essie Marshmallow to be found this week (or ever on this blog, now that I think about it). If you've keeping up with my blog for any length of time you'll notice ho-hum, boring, drab, or blah nails is not something I'm into. Sure you’ll see the occasional neutral color, but those are far and few in between.

Anyway today’s nails are rather ostentatious considering the fact it’s a wedding theme and most wedding nails are traditionally a plain French manicure or Essie Marshmallow. I don’t do traditional —my blog, my rules. Capiche?

 I started out wanting to do a half moon in white and a gold stripe instead of the triangle shape, but this way more fun!

When you say wedding the first things that come to mind for me (aside from women chasing that MRS. degree) are white dresses and beautifully obnoxious diamond rings with gold bands.

To bring that idea to life I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind White & Color Club Gingerbread (from the Color Club Beyond The Mistletoe Collection).

And just for kicks and giggles here's a video me and a friend made in college. I wonder if her boyfriend knows she plans to dance down the aisle like this someday.

I'm in no race to the altar. Unless Justin Timberlake is waiting for me, then I'll throw on my track shoes.
