When Good Manis Go Bad: Gold & Green Water Marble Edition
Thursday, November 15, 2012nail a college drop outLast week I had the idea that I was going to paint my nails gold and lime green. Only to have the same thought interrupted by, "Hey! I'm going to do a water marble!" Time came and went and finally I said to myself, "You know Briana, there's no time like the present and you should really knock this off of your designs to try list." Little did I think it would become quite the nail fail.
...And now I've brought you up to speed lets move on to the manicure mishap in question.
*photo taken after three days of wear*
I know some of you might be thinking there isn't anything wrong with it. And I guess, to some extent, there isn't. I just really really really really really really suck at making uniform water marbles.
Oh perchance to dream of channeling my inner My Simple Little Pleasures successfully.
Anyway here's the polishes I used to make this edition of When Good Manis Go Bad possible.
Orly Sashay My Way
Sally Hansen X-treme Wear Golden-I
Color Club Feelin Groovy
QRS Nail 24KT
*not photographed* Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Iron Skull (used as base)
You win some. You lose some. It's how you play the game paint your nails.
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
