A Little More Than Neon Matte Glitter
Tuesday, July 23, 2013nail a college drop outMy name is Briana and I'm addicted to nail polish.
Now that I've accepted my "condition" let's talk lacquer! Starting last month every Walmart nationwide is supposed to carry the new limited edition Neon Collision Collection by Salon Perfect. I found myself heavily stalking the two Wally Worlds in my city, to no avail might I add.
Being the hardcore polish fiend you all know and love, I outsourced my hunt to a fellow lacquerista in another state. Alas! She found all six pretties in question!
But for now we'll start with three.
Nothing To Disclose
The formula on these three were the same so leave that towards the end of the post.
Zapped- Yellow and turquoise collision.
Shocked- Hot pink and turquoise collision.
For me to not like pink nail polish this is one of my favorites.
Kaboom-Turquoise and yellow collision.
Mr. Nail A College Drop Out's favorite pf the bunch and a mainstream Floam dupe! Can you say double win? I actually have the original Floam, but I couldn't break up a set. See post here.
I know what you're thinking. "Where did the silver glitter come from?" Well, I didn't want to swatch them over black or white and I didn't want to do three coats of each. So why not add in some additional sparkle with China Glaze Glistening Snow?
Each swatch is one coat of neon matte glitter, two coats of CG Glistening Snow, and a layer of quick dry top coat. The brush was kind of stiff, but definitely not hard to maneuver.
Nothing To Disclose
Sometimes stalking doesn't pay. That's when your enablers fellow lacqueristas lend a helping hand.
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
