After taking off last Wednesday's nail art, I decided to try something a lot less complex. Why? Only because I didn't the time available to create another extremely detailed manicure. If I've learned anything over time. It's that I should never, under any circumstance, paint my nails while under fatigue. Trust me. It. Never. Ends. Well.
Anyway, I picked out two Sation colors and some camouflage studs I bought on eBay for today's simple nail art installment.
Of Corset I'll Call You & Plenty Of Frogs
I started with a three coats of Of Corset I'll Call You. I assumed it was a creme, but it is definitely a crelly? creme/jelly hybrid. Next I took a striper brush and painted half of my nail in Plenty Of Frogs. And lastly, I placed some camo studs I bought on eBay to form a rhombus shape.
Believe it or not the sort of wonky looking wrinkles are only visible in photos this close. I can this is what happens when you use lacquer in a really really hot room.
These Sation colors are available for $5 on store.misspn.com, although I
have heard of these guys being found at Marshall's for around $3 each.
Have an idea for a design I should try next? Leave in the comments, tweet me, write on my wall, or email me at nailacollegedropout@aol.com.
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
