Jamberry Skittlette

Press Sample I may have more of an obsession a liking to nail polish then most people I know, but I'll admit that I don't always try new nail trends immediately. So today's post is a first for two reasons. One being my first skittlette manicure, and the second being my first time trying Jamberry Nail Shields.

Don't know what a skittlette is? A skittlette is a mani where most (sometimes every)  nail has a different design, but all fit together visually once completed.

Well folks, let's get to it.

In terms of concept Jamberry Nail Shields are much like many other nail wraps on the market i.e. Sally Hansen Salon Effects and Kiss Nail Stickers. But in terms of application process Jamberry Nail Shields differ because they require heat. No, you don't have to microwave them or anything crazy like that, you just need a blow dryer. Here's a link to the application process.

If I had to pick a favorite nail shield from these I'd certainly go with the one on my ring finger.
For my first time using nail wraps that require heat, I don't think I did too badly.

Jamberry Nail Shields retail for $15 each on JamberryNails.net. If you want to try out a skittlette you can buy 3 and get 1 free.
