Ah, it appears I'm running two-a-days this hump day. Earlier I showed you two metallic shades and now I've got one more metallic shade and a pastel.
I've been seeing herringbone patterned nail art all over IG lately and wanted to give it a go myself.
I started with Keen as a base color. Keen, while being what I though was a promising peach crème, turned out to be quite the opposite. The formula was a bit on the thick side and didn't self-level after four coats and required a layer of top coat to smooth it over.
After I laid down my base color, I used Goss to render to herringbone print. The formula on Goss was much more favorable because it was smooth and opaque in one coat--I know this because I was too lazy to repeat this design on my right hand and decided simply paint my aforementioned hand with it. Another Goss bonus? It's crazy reflective.
Goss might be my new favorite rose gold shade!
Keen and Goss are part of butter LONDON's Boho Rock Collection for Spring 2014 and retail for $15 per 11mL bottle on butterLONDON.com.
By the way, bL has some really, really, really great deals in their Last Order section!
Have you tried the herringbone trend yet?
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
