Nothing To Disclose It's been three months and two days since B blessed us all with LEMONADE. Since then I've become an official member of the Beyhive (not the member to drag anyone on Twitter, but I'm definitely more than a casual Yoncé listener), lived in envy that my cousin went to the Formation World Tour, and even planned today's post. Albeit, this post being something I planned literally the day after LEMONADE, I'm just now finishing it. For shame. I know.


Anyway, today I've got nine shades of yellow in varying finishes and textures to help you channel your inner Oshun. You're welcome.

Let's get started with a multi-sized, matte glitter; Formula X Mind Blowing.
Remember when Sephora abandoned Sephora by OPI to focus on something new? Well, folks, Formula X was it. And I, like a good polish enthusiast does, stalked any Sephora I could find when the release date finally arrived. No shame.

Barielle Lemondrops
Lemondrops has been my go-to yellow crème sine its release in summer 2013. Yellow lacquers tend to be damn near impossible to work with. And crème finishes are just as bad, if not worse. But somehow Barielle did it.

nubar Resort Yellow
Resort  Yellow is part of nubar's Sweet Escape collection for spring 2013. Yeah, other "oldie" from '13. I completely forgot about this guy until I found it last my stash last night during my Snapchat shenanigans.

Nail Glam by Jove'e Co International High-Stepper
International High-Stepper was one of my first Nail Glam lacquers. They used to be a monthly nail polish subscription box.  Now, I believe they sell their nail polish individually.

China Glaze Lemon Fizz
Remember how I told you yellow nail polishes are notoriously hard to work with? Well, folks, Lemon Fizz isn't awful to work with. However, it does require some patience, but in the end, it's worth it.

Nail the B.Y.T.C.H. Not Ya Honey! Honey!
Nail the B.Y.T.C.H. (be your own true creative heroine) is now a defunct brand. I couldn't Help but include Not Ya Honey! Honey! on this list.

Dare To Wear Happy Hour
If you've followed Nail A College Drop Out long enough, you'd know that I love neon nail polish and that Dare To Wear is one of my favorite brands. While Happy Hour may be the only neon the make that requires a white base coat, it still deserves a little love.

I did promise varying finishes at the onset so here lies a shimmer.

SinfulColors Let's Meet
Let's Meet is one of the easiest yellows I've used. Possibly because yellow shimmer pigments are less finicky? I'm just guessing at this point as I don't manufacture polish. But I'm gonna go with it.
It is worth noting that this is the original Let's Meet #928, as a newer version does exist and is completely different if my memory from my last trip to Rite Aid holds up.


Because texture polish is still a thing, I had to include my favorite legitimate Knowles sister, Solange. (All tea, no shade. I just love Solo more than Bey.)

Zoya Solange
Ah yes. Zoya PixieDusts. I've stated time and time again that I love Zoya PixieDusts and they are the only texture polish I still actively reach for. Hell, this past weekend I rocked Zoya Liberty on my fingers and toes.
