Summer is pretty much over but of course, I needed one last hoorah before it ended. It also didn't hurt that it was my birthday so off to Miami I went.


Yes, I did immediately pull out my phone to take a picture of some OPI in the Miami International Airport. Who would I be if I didn't?


I originally planned some super dope, super intricate nails for my birthday mani but I guess it wasn't meant to be because each and every attempt was a super fail. Then, I opted to just grab a bottle of nail polish and paint my nails when I got to my hotel room. I pack a bottle of nail polish every time I procrastinate and don't paint my nails before my flight leaves. And every single time I do that, I'm always way too preoccupied to paint my nails.

Since I never got around to painting my nails for my bday mani I guess now is about as good a time as any to paint my nails the color I packed in my suitcase.


I crammed as much as I possibly could into a four-day weekend/birthday celebration. Anyone that knows me in real life knows that an art museum is definitely on the to-go list.

For your enjoyment here I am being my perpetually awkward, weirdo self in Boomerang form at the Perez Art Museum Miami.

Again, also to the folks that know me best, know that I am ALWAYS down for a trip to a sex museum. So imagine how excited I was when I found out World Erotic Art Museum was only a 10-minute walk from my hotel.

Nightlife. Oh, the nightlife.
Juvenile was at Story and I promise you it was LIT AF! Especially when he performed "Back That Azz Up". My phone decided it didn't have enough storage for that so here's a glimpse at "Slow Motion".


Next up, was ORA and appearances from Ty Dolla$ and Future. Am I the only one that quotes Issa from season one of Insecure whenever Ty Dolla$ is mentioned? I ALWAYS ended up saying, "Oh my god, you talk to Ty Dolla$ about me?"


But the best part of my birthday vacation? I got to meet Dr. Miami!


I'm a huge Dr. Miami fan and I'm not even going to try to lie to y'all and say I didn't plan this entire vacation around that very moment. It. Was. Awesome. He's so nice and genuine. Him, Brittany, and Ashley really are the exact same people you see on his Snapchat. My cousin and I got t-shirts, offered a tour of the building, and I got to sit on the throne in his office.


Aside from what I've posted here I also went parasailing for the first time, had authentic Cuban food, a mojito bigger than my head, and more.

"I don't want ya man. I just want the shmoney. Yeah, that's what a girl likes." Aight. So now that I've kicked this off with some Cardi B, let's get into these neon money--or should I say shmoney?--nails.


If my $100 dollar bill nails look familiar to you then you've definitely been rocking with Nail A College Drop Out for a while. Seen HERE and HERE.

This mani was actually incredibly easy to execute. my thumb, middle, and ring finger are $100 bill nail decals topped with neon decals straight from Japan.

Goodness, trying to find these decals online is so damn hard y'all.
Anyway, my index and pinky fingers are a gradient using five of the seven shades from Color Club's Poptastic Pastel Neon collection.



I may or may not have added Japan on my travel bucket list just to hopefully get my hands on more Sha Nail Pro products.






No US currency was harmed in the making of these nails.

Every year Zoya puts out a collection of neutral colors and 2016 was no exception to that. So today I've got some abstract using this entire six-piece set of neutral nail colors.


This look was easy to achieve. First, I painted a base color of Tatum. Once that dried, I placed two different sized nail vinyls on each nail. Then, I sponged all six colors on top of that. Finally, I removed the nail vinyls and topped it off with a layer of quick dry top coat.


See. Told ya it was easy.

Summer is here and so are the summer nail polish collections. On today's roster is the Zoya Wanderlust collection.


Let's get into it.

Byrdie & Minnie
Byrdie is a two coat bubble gum pink créme that leans kinda fuchsia.
Winnie is another pink two coat créme, this is described by Zoya as a watermelon pink.

Mandy & Esty
Mandy this collection is a majority of crémes but Mandy is metallic. A magenta metallic to be exact. Shown above in two coats.
Esty here's the definite fuchsia créme of the group. No complaints on the formula on this one. Shown above in two coats. 

Cora & Sawyer
Cora a coral créme I was really excited about when I looked at the bottle. It was thick to apply. Like really thick. Like it definitely needed a few drops of nail polish thinner. But after the thinner was added it only required two coats.
Sawyer a light orange créme that reached full opacity in two coats.

Journey & Sonja
Journey a blue-based red metallic foil shade. The downside to Journey is that it stains. So just be aware. Opaque in two coats.
Sonja I'm really feeling this read. Dare I say this was my favorite of the entire collection. The is probably a first for me and I'm just as shocked about this as you are. Fully opaque in two coats.

Scout & Arbor
Scout a shimmering green moss that has a smooth formula and reaches full opacity in two coats.
Arbor is an olive green créme that's fully opaque in two coats.
Overall Scout & Arbor are nice but these DEFINITELY feel like fall colors to me.

River & Lois
River a cobalt blue shimmer. Seen above in two coats.
Lois how about we pretend I didn't have a moment where I played out one of Stewie's monologues about Lois in my head just taking notes about this shade, ok? Anyway, Lois in fully opaque in two coats.


Formula wise Wanderlust performed really really well. But as far as personal taste goes, I really wasn't into it. Just way too many shades of pink. Way too many.
Oh Zoya, can we (and by we I mean you) make a collection as awesome as Island Fun was?
